I haven't posted anything in a while. I'm currently in the middle of changing the way the code interacts with the database. That way, the offline version will be able to use the MS Access database again, while still remain working with the MS SQL Server database. Then people should be able to use the offline version much more easily.

Alright, I fixed a couple of bugs today. The big one is the Quiz Credits. I forgot to specify the user, so only the first 5 people who took a quiz each day were getting credits. This should now work correct. Secondly, there was a bug in the Quiz on a certain question. I was trying to get rid of that ??? type for questions that deal with Types. Since ??? came up, it wasn't possible to figure out the damage that would be done and it would crash. Now I am properly filtering out the ??? type. Finally, I fixed a few other rare bugs that a few people got (I get emailed all the errors that happen.)

I added a new Suggestions page that will allow any registered user to post improvements or ideas for the site.

Now when you take a Pokemon Quiz, you will earn credits! Only the first 5 quizzes you take each day will earn credits. You also have to get at least 70% on a quiz for you to earn credits, too. You get 100 credits per quiz, multiplied by the difficulty. Thus, a Newbie quiz would be worth 100, Veteran would be worth 200, and Elite would be worth 300. Based on the top 3, the chances of you getting 70% on Elite are not very good. However, you do have a chance at Veteran.

The Trading pages are all layed out now. However, they are taking some considerable time to fully implement. I also have the first part of the RNG Calculators ported over from the offline version to my website. I don't have any of the screens created for it, but I do have the code that generates the frames done.

The Quiz Results will now only show the last 28 days. This gives everyone a chance to be in the top 3. The Show All Results page will show the scores for the last 28 days and all-time.

You can now Plan Your Pokemon or start marking some of your Pokemon for trade! If you go under Pokemon -> MyPokemon, you can go to the Plan page to setup the Pokemon you either have or want. You can then go to View to see all the Pokemon you have/want thus far. You can go to Pokemon -> Search -> Trades to see what people are currently offering up for trade. However, I still have to implement the actual trading pages so that you can make offers and setup meeting times.

I revised the Damage Calculator to make it look a lot nicer. I still have to rearrange it slightly because 1024x768 resolutions can't see the whole thing. One of the biggest improvements is that you will only see certain Hold Items or CheckBoxes/NumberBoxes when it can affect the damage formula. For example, if you don't have a water move, you won't see Mystic Water as a hold item. However, if you change the attacker's move to Surf, Mystic Ice will now show up in the list. Also, if you chose the ability Rivalry, the Gender dropdown will show up for both Pokemon.

The IV Battle Matchup service is complete. If you want to do an IV Battle, simply go to the page (Pokemon -> Services -> IV Battle Matchup) and follow the directions. We need to spread the word about it so other people start using it. Once it gets popular, no one will have to wait for an IV Battle anymore! It also will give a 1-on-1 chat to both people (Java based) to make setting everything up a lot easier.
